Lance was one of the create a warrior movesets in Soul Calibur III, unlike most of the movesets it wasn't directly based off another existing characters moveset, although it uses some movement from Kilik and Seong Mi-na.

The following are the weapons in the Lance category and how to unlock them in Soul Calibur III:

• Pilum Muralis - Can be purchased for 13400 Gold.
• Bourdonasse - Defeat Giradot in Chronicle 2. Or play 325 battles.
• Ahlspiess - Defeat Lupi in Chronicle 11. Or play 425 battles.
• Dreadnought - Defeat Brunhild in Chronicle 13. Or play 525 battles.
• Absolution - Defeat Giradot in Chronicle 15 with any character.
• Blazecleaver - Defeat Lupi in Chronicle 11 with any character. Or play 840 battles.
• Sacrifice - Defeat Roin in Chronicle 12 with any character. Or play 890 battles.
