Soul Calibur II - After a past encounter with Stone Edge, Necrid turned into a monster bent on bloodshed, suffering an everlasting pain. Beginning to attack many a traveler while out of his mind he eventually attacked one holding a piece of Stone Edge. The aura radiating from this piece slightly eased the pain and so he came to one conclusion, he must obtain all pieces of Stone Edge to heal himself of the pain.
